To bring the architect’s complex craft home to young people and give university students a closer view of a way of doing architecture attentive “to the art and technique of building,” the Foundation organizes various initiatives, suited to different age groups: conferences, meetings, workshops and visits to the archives.
The Foundation organizes programs and workshops for different age groups.
For primary- and secondary-school pupils, the visit focuses on the presentation of the architect's craft, the discovery of the archive and, above all, the modelling workshop.
For high school students and university students, the visit to the Foundation is conducted by an RPBW architect. Often speaking from personal experience, they recount the complex history of one or more projects or a design theme, depending on the requirements of the teachers.
WITH THE 'FESTIVAL
Since 2009, the Foundation has been collaborating with the Association of Friends of the Science Festival in Genoa. This has led the Foundation to host some 200 students from all over Liguria each year, from all kinds of schools. Each year, following the theme of the festival's festival, workshops and presentations are organized involving the Foundation’s staff and some RPBW architects.
Teachers can request visits and workshops by writing an email to firstname.lastname@example.org,
