Exhibiting architecture is a difficult task. Nothing can really replace direct experience of the built space, the  perception of the hybrid fabric of the city, and listening to the voices that life continuously produces. Yet an exhibition of architecture can immediately convey the complex and shared process b which the buildings are devised, built and then inhabited. A viewing by fragments comprising drawings, materials and the instruments of this painstaking research, the same that are found on architects' work tables. An exhibition can recout the making of our profession as architects without distortions, showin its many different aspects: experiments, progress, but also second thoughts and changes of direction. Then the exhibi installation can implicitly comunicate a language, an expressive intention. For us, as alays, all this has this has to do with the poetics of lightness, illumination, moveme. The large monographic panels are islands in an archipelao. The idea of weightless - which caracterizes the the imprint, the essence of our Renzo Piano Building Workshop - is semantically expressed by the easy sailing of our models in the glow of the lighthouse of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. The exhibition is the last of a journey began in 2013, generously organized by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.
